2022 Decor Trends: Plush Curves and Sculptural Shapes

The only thing constant about trends, is that they come and go – which is why I always say to stick to what you love regardless of what is currently “in” at the moment. That being said…who doesn’t love to be ahead of the curve when it comes to home fashion?! 2022 is set to be a fun and fantastical year for returned and reimagined trends full of nostalgia and whimsey. One such trend by which I am enamored is the re-emergence of plush curves and sculptural shapes in furniture.

When you think of summer décor, your mind might wonder to bright pops of hot pink and shining yellow. I love pops of colorful florals and fresh hues in my home. However, this year I am all about bringing earthy tones and airy neutrals to the forefront of my spaces. Following a challenging year that kept us cooped up, bringing calming, earthy shades into our homes can give a sense of much needed comfort. The beautiful tones of mother nature are a sure way to create a homey atmosphere.

With lovely shades for every room and occasion, blue is having its time in the sun. French Blue, Classic Cobalt, and Navy have captured our attention for Summer 2021 and we can’t get enough of them at the shop and at home!

2020: A Decor Year in Review

What a year it has been! In some ways it feels like 2020 has lasted for a lifetime, and in others it seems like it never got a chance to start in the first place. It has been a year that taught us to be flexible in the face of change and one that proved how amazing all of our friends and customers are for continuing to support us here at the shop. It is because of you that we are able to keep our doors open and keep doing what we love! As we look forward to a new year (come on 2021 – we have high hopes for you!) it is important to look back at the good memories we have collected these last 12 months. Summer Trends We Love
