From Kansas City, MO:

Proceed North on I-29. Take exit 20 and turn left to Tracy, MO on Route 273. From Tracy, turn right on Hwy 92 all the way to Leavenworth, KS. After you cross the Missouri River into Leavenworth, Hwy. 92 turns into Metropolitan Avenue. Continue on Metropolitan Avenue as it turns into US Hwy. 73 all the way to Atchison, KS.

From Johnson County, KS:

Proceed North on I-435 to Hwy. 45 North. From Hwy. 45 take State Highway 45 Spur into Leavenworth, KS. At the intersection of Hwy. 45 Spur and Hwy. 92, turn left (east) on Hwy. 92. After you cross the Missouri River into Leavenworth, Hwy. 92 turns into Metropolitan Avenue. Continue on Metropolitan Avenue as it turns into US Hwy. 73 all the way to Atchison, KS.
