Mary Carol has once again made her mark, this time on a 4,000+ square foot colonial town home at Loose Park Place, located just south of the Country Club Plaza at West 51st Terrace in Kansas City, Missouri 64112. The ultra-luxurious space features Mary Carol's personally-selected interiors and cozy traditional charm. The Grand Opening is scheduled for April 4, 10am-3pm, with additional show dates of April 5, 10am-5pm and April 6, 12-5pm, and will benefit the Junior League of Kansas City, Missouri Community Endowment Fund. Tickets are $10 and available online by credit card at www.jlkc.org. Tickets available at the door by cash or check.

Guy Wolff is back with his pottery wheel and amazing demonstration of why he's known worldwide for his garden pottery. He will be making original pieces and signing his work. Last year, there was standing room only for his presentation, so I'm holding it at Briarcliff Village in Kansas City to give us more room.

Wear your comfy clothes and shoes and be prepared for long lines as the annual warehouse sale is held in the Atchison warehouse at 1101 Main in Atchison. This is my one sale of the year, with drastic reductions and a buying frenzy like no other Nell Hill's event. Come early—the doors opens at 9:00 and everything is over by 1:00.

Please join me at my annual fall home tour in Atchison, Kansas. I will open the doors to my home and garden from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. My stores will be open all day and buses will take visitors to my home every 20 minutes and back to the stores. Come see the changes I've made to my home—I think it was time that I do my own redecorating after ten years!

My annual holiday open house will be held at my home from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. I invite you to come take a sneak peek at my seasonal décor. It will be dressed up and ready for a photo shoot for my new book, O Christmas Tree: How Creative People Decorate for the Holidays. The book will be published in the fall of 2009, but this is a chance to see the stage set and ready. Buses will be running back and forth from the store to my home all day. Get the girlfriends, load the van, and come rejuvenate your creative spirit before the holiday rush begins.
